Medicine Delivery in Ghana / LAPD and Drone Technology

Back in December 2020, the team at Zipline Drones gave our community a very special treat. During this live streamed event we got to see Zipline’s impressive fixed wing drones launch into the Ghana skies, delivering life saving medicine and supplies with their amazing autonomous aircraft delivery service.

As an added bonus, Captain Tim Martin of the LAPD (whose son happens to be a Drone Legend!) demonstrated how he and his team use UASs (unmanned aerial systems) in the force. Such an amazing day. A must watch event!
