Every Drone Legends program includes a "Movie Mission", letting the kids create their own video production using the aerial cinematography and video editing skills they learned through their Drone Legends club sessions.
Our Drone Legends programmed their drones to fly in a sine wave pattern using the "z=sin(x) equation". We used the example of sound waves to illustrate the sine wave cycle. Kids were then asked to create a movie that featured cuts, transitions, and effects timed to the beat of a soundtrack. This particular Legend nailed it!
This crazy masterpiece is the result of 8 super talented kids in the Drone Legends drone club. Their task was to individually shoot video, with and/or without drones, then combine those shots into one, collaborative creative effort. The Apocalypse Theory is what we end up with :)
What better way to capture a remote fixed-wing aircraft in flight, than to track it with a drone! Drone Legends Mikey & Noah set the bar particularly high with their film.
You know what's great about aerial cinematography? You can make THE coolest home movies around. Drone Legends Kylie & Trey flip out(side) at Grandmother's house!
The use of drones in film making has dramatically changed the way movies are shot, and how we view them. In this dramatic production, Drone Legend Lucas shows off his piloting skills using the "tracking shot" move he learned in class
Drone Legend Noah used his Tello Drone's special flight mode, "bounce" feature to place the viewer into the perspective of a bouncing ball. The result is a fun, bouncy movie watching experience!
Drones and nature! A winning combination! Drone Legends Luke & Marie take their drones to the sky and woods in their drone video production.
